Inspired by a deep love for Indian fragrances and a commitment to sustainability, we set out to create home and personal fragrances that do more than just scent a space. They evoke memories, tell stories, and bring a piece of India into everyday life.

Our name, Jyotirgamaya, means "lead me towards light" - a reflection of our mission to craft mindful, sensory experiences that illuminate homes and hearts.

"Hi, I’m Vanya, the founder of Jyotirgamaya. In early 2023, life took an unexpected turn when I was laid off from Google. What seemed like an ending soon became the beginning of something extraordinary. As I faced uncertainty, I turned to what had always brought me solace - creating.

Each candle I crafted became a symbol of hope and strength, guiding me out of the darkness. Blending and pouring weren’t just about making candles; they were about reigniting a spark within me. Jyotirgamaya, meaning “towards light,” was born from this journey.

More than a home-fragrance brand, Jyotirgamaya is a tribute to resilience,
heritage, craftsmanship, and mindful luxury. Rooted in Indian traditions and
driven by sustainability, we create soulful fragrances that evoke emotions,
